All the information on this website has been obtained from the respective country's embassy websites or from emails to the embassy. Still it is strongly advised to consult the embassy before making any final travel arrangements. The visa information for each country will be checked and updated at least once a month though not all regions or countries will be updated at the same time.

           All the visa information on this website is for Tourist visa and only for Indian Nationals residing in UK on a resident (work permit, HSMP, IGS, FTS, student visa etc.,). Different rules and processing times are applicable to Indians in UK on a Tourist visa and are not covered on this site.

The minimum and maximum processing times are for applications made in person at the embassy. The processing time for postal applications is considerably longer and also depends on the delivery time of the postal department.

Following are the documents needed by almost every country when applying for a tourist visa:

1. Passport valid for at least 3 months. Some countries need at least 6 months validity.

2. 1 or 2 blank pages in the passport to affix the visa.

3. UK residency visa (work permit visa, student visa etc.,) valid for at least 3 to 6 months. Some consulates ask for 1 year.

4. Proof of funds to cover expenses like food, accommodation etc. This can be either bank statements, credit card statements or travellers cheques depending on the embassy.

5. Proof of Journey. Some countries ask for Provisional booking of journey tickets while some ask for confirmed tickets. Some countries mention not to book tickets until the visa is granted. Check individual embassy's website for more details.

6. Proof of Accommodation. Depending on the country, provisional internet booking or confirmed booking might be asked while some countries mention not to book it until the visa is granted.
