· China: Non-Chinese members of the Olympic Family who hold the Olympic Identity and Accreditation Card (OIAC) consistent with a valid passport can enter into China (including Hong Kong and Macao) from 00:01 hrs 8th July to 23:59 hrs 23rd September, 2008 without visa.
· United States of America The current Wait time for a Tourist Visa Interview Appointment is 48 Days.
· IRELAND From 30 June 2008, all visa applicants resident in Great Britain and Northern Ireland must apply for their visa through the online visa application service.
· Belgium Visa Application Centre operated by VF Services in London will process only 60 applications per day on a first serve basis due to the high number of applications received.
· Switzerland intends to join the Schengen visa scheme on 1 November 2008. From that date, persons requiring a Schengen visa to enter the Schengen States will also require a Schengen visa to enter Switzerland. Detailed information will be posted on this site as soon as available.
